Probably every modern photographer loves great Black&White photography. The same goes for me, however I like the delicious colors even more, so I use Black&White processing only in exceptional cases. I always wanted my BW photos to look the best they can and I looked for the best BW processing for a long, long time.
On the beginning I went through the basic LR processing, but it doesn’t quite satisfied me. Then I switched to Silver Effex, and found the results excellent! But the workflow for plugins in Lightroom is not integrated in LR itself enough. Then I went for the CaptureNX which is great for colors and good enough for BW, but when working on Delicious Presets I used all the LR power, I found it the greatest tool for Black&Whites! 
I processed all these photos with one of the Black & White Pepper Presets for Lightroom 4 – Smooth Shadow. I just tuned the basic settings ( Exposure, Highlights, Whites, Shadows, Blacks ) for each photo – so easy to fit the preset.
